Support for staff

If you are worried about your sexual safety at work, or that of a colleague, you can contact any of the following for advice, support and help.

  • Any member of the Executive Team
  • Your line manager
  • Any senior manager

People Advisory Service

The PAS team are a confidential and safe team to speak to in relation to sexual safety in the workplace and can offer further advice and guidance about the Sexual Misconduct Policy and information on other services, in addition to support.

Freedom to Speak Up Guardian

 Staff can raise issues or concerns in confidence to FTSUGs, who will support you and ensure your complaint is listened to confidentially and taken down the correct channel, if appropriate.

Inclusion and wellbeing

The Inclusion and Wellbeing teams can provide support to members of staff who have experienced sexual misconduct and can signpost to both Trust and external support. Wellbeing officers can offer accessible, confidential pastoral care and the wellbeing hubs at each site offer a safe and welcoming space.

Safeguarding teams

 Safeguarding can provide advice and support to employees who disclose sexual misconduct and can signpost and refer staff to external support.

Trade union representatives

Trade union reps can help and provide advice and support to their members about sexual misconduct at work. They can provide advice, guidance and support, for example by attending meetings with you. They will also help influence and guide organisations about preventative actions they can take to improve sexual safety.

Independent Domestic Violence Advocates 

They can signpost to this policy, explain the procedures for reporting and the potential routes and outcomes, and help someone to make a report. Please make contact via the above safeguarding team.

External organisations

ACAS

The ACAS helpline is available for anyone experiencing workplace related issues including sexual harassment. ACAS can also provide legal advice.

Citizen's Advice

Citizen's Advice provide information about your legal rights in the workplace if you are experiencing sexual harassment.

The Survivors Trust

The Survivors Trust work with people of all ages, all genders, of all forms of sexual violence, sexual abuse and sexual exploitation, including support for partners and family members.

GINA 

Offer support to anyone who has experienced any form of sexual violence, abuse, assault, harassment, exploitation, harm or violation. This includes counselling and free resources to support with the impact of sexual violence and abuse.
